Forest Green's community team has been working tirelessly to expand its outreach programs, with a focus on inclusive and engaging activities for all ages and abilities. Since being appointed in December, the Head of Community has recognized the value of existing programs and is excited to grow and impact more people over the coming years. The community team has expressed gratitude to Bristol Memorial Woodland and Grundon for their continued support, which plays a vital role in delivering the mission and expanding the reach within the community. Forest Green's community programs now include FA disability sessions, designed to provide inclusive and accessible opportunities for participants of all abilities. The FA Comets sessions and FA Disability Recreational sessions offer fun, structured, and supportive football experiences. Additionally, the FA Just Play programme is available for 16+ and 18+ participants, providing a relaxed and enjoyable way to stay active and play the game. Looking ahead to September, Forest Green is launching its first Girls Development Centre, which will support player development at all levels and create a clear pathway for aspiring female players. The centre will help bridge the gap from grassroots football to the FGR Emerging Talent Centre, providing a clear and inspiring route for young players. Forest Green's community team remains committed to growing participation, enhancing opportunities, and ensuring everyone in the community has a place in the game. The team is excited to share more developments and opportunities on the horizon, and fans can stay connected for further updates and details on how to get involved.
