Forest Green is pleased to announce that Jonathan Gould will be joining Robbie's 1st Team coaching staff as set-piece and GK coach. Jonathan has a wealth of experience, having played for the likes of Coventry, Bradford, and Preston North End, and making 157 appearances for Celtic, earning three league championship winner's medals, three Scottish League Cup winner's medals and a Scottish Cup medal in the process. His coaching experience is equally impressive, with a CV that includes West Brom, Middlesbrough, Preston, Stoke and the New Zealand national team. For the last couple of years, Jonathan has been the GK coach at Auckland FC, seeing them win a Premier Plate and a Grand Final. Looking to return to the UK and take on a new challenge, Jonathan left New Zealand this year and returns to English football with Forest Green. The gaffer was quick to act once he learned of Gould's availability. When we found out Jonathan was available, we couldn't miss the opportunity to bring in someone of his calibre and experience, said Robbie. He'll be a huge asset to the club, to me personally, and to the staff and players at the training ground. Jonathan is thrilled to be joining the club and building on the momentum of last season.
